SUPERMACS M7 MOTORWAY PLAZA - JUCTION 17

The new Supermacs M7 Motoway Plaza at Junction 17 recently opened to the public and we were delighted to be involved in the project as the Mechanical and Electrical Consultancy Engineers. Supermacs required us to develop designs that would improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and energy costs compared to older motorway plazas. Our design solutions included highly efficient air to water heat pumps to provide the heating and hot water requirements and the provision of highly efficient EC type ventilation fans. Other energy efficient designs included high quality LED lighting controls, heat recovery ventilation, variable air volume ventilation and VRF air conditioning. All energy systems are controlled by a central BMS installation.
